Something about me
I was born in Salerno (Italy) in 1989 and I have approached photography documenting back stages of some festivals like Giffoni Film Festival and Comicon Naples.
I have had the fortune to work with great photographers like Richard Kalvar (Magnum), Moises Saiman (Magnum) and Francesco Zizola (NOOR) who have helped me to structure my narrative and to develop my personal vision. In 2013 I had exhibited in Biennale Architettura of Venice my series “Human Waste”, about Naples’ emergency in Naples in 2011.
I work on my projects with a metaphotographic approach using any sort of digital medium and archive's material to create my narrative. Everything becomes photography in a society based on visual.
In 2017 I won the first young talents prize in “Oltre le mura” award by Global Sharpers, and I was shortlisted in Slideluck Naples award, Belfast photo Award, Lugano Photo Days award and Leica LFI Music Contest award. Some of my photographs have been shown at Korean Centre of Architecture and at MACRO of Rome.
Moreover I am member of Spontanea, Italian Street Photography Collective.
